Since beginning in year 2000, LB Freedom tours has become one of the leading specialist providers of independent biking and walking holidays through the heart of the Swiss Alps, mainland Italy and the Mediterranean Islands.
And we continue to grow in these areas thanks to a very dedicated and friendly team whose aim is to give you your best active holiday ever.
Through extensive research in the areas we cover, we are proud to offer you what we consider the best Cycling and Walking routes ever in our specialised areas. We considered to expand to new areas but feel an extensive knowledge of the Alps and Italy is better than some knowledge in several areas.
With bases in our chosen areas, we are able to respond to your needs immediately and consider Flexibility as one of our main strengths.

Our touring holidays ensure you get the sense of starting at one place and finishing in a completely different area. You will meet the locals either at our family run accommodations or en route, who will be delighted to share experiences with you regardless of the language barrier!
We are members of the Travel Trust Association. All monies are kept in a trust account, so you can book your holiday with confidence as your funds can only be released on your return.
We have listed a variety of touring holidays and single base stays. On all trips, we provide detailed and easy to follow route notes and highlighted maps. We have never lost a client so far! This year, our bikes are equipped with bike computers so you can measure the distances. We also provide detailed information packs, which are sent prior to arrival enabling you to read up on your chosen area.
For our touring holidays, you spend 2 nights at each location allowing you plenty of time on the so-called “Freedom day” to discover the surrounding area on foot or by bike following our suggested itineraries.
We transfer the luggage between the hotels and provide back up assistance should you decide not to walk or bike on any travelling day. All trips are between 7 and 13 days in duration.
Everything is taken care for you, hotels are prebooked, the routes have carefully been researched, luggage is transferred, all you have to do is take in the area on foot or by bike at your own pace. Otherwise known as organised freedom!
